Mozaik is a cuvée of Merlot (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Istrian Borgonja 20%). Borgonja is another variety local to Istria that, alongside the more popular Teran, is an excellent representative of Istrian red grape varieties. Many people compare Borgonja to the French variety Gamay, although science has now proven that these two are not exactly the same variety.

Mozaik is matured in oak barrels for 15 months and then spends another 5 months in the bottle. The wine has ruby red tones, and a rich almost sweet taste, like a sweet red grape. It is a most elegant and unusual wine which tastes both light and yet mature at the same time. It pairs well with tuna or blue fish, red meat dishes, and dishes that contain Asian and Indian spices.
