First Presbyterian Day School is proud to welcome Mrs. Taylor Stroud to TEAM 皇冠体育官网 as our Varsity Volleyball Coach.  Coach Stroud is a recent graduate of Mercer University, where she was a two-year starter for the Bears’ Volleyball team and a customer service/events assistant with the Mercer Athletic department.  In addition to her collegiate experience, Coach Stroud most recently led the Tsunami Volleyball Club, a position she held while working as a volunteer leader for YoungLife Macon. Prior to her college and early professional career, Taylor was a three-year starter (2 years as the captain) at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. She was an All-Area selection on the 2014 team, and she was selected as the 2014 AAAAAA State Championship Game MVP.

“I am excited to be the new coach at 皇冠体育官网, and I hope we can continue to build on the strong foundation 皇冠体育官网’s volleyball program has built,” said Stroud.

“We are so pleased with Taylor Stroud and all that she will bring to our program,” said 皇冠体育官网 Athletic Director, Greg Moore.“We feel like our volleyball team will benefit from her experience and excitement, and her past leadership responsibilities with Young Life will pay big dividends here as she mentors and teaches our girls.”

Stroud will begin her responsibilities as the new Head Coach immediately, working closely with Sarah Futo, who will transition to an Administrative role as the middle school team coach for 2022.
